Galatians 6:7-8: Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

This principle of life is referred to as The Law of The Harvest.  Simply stated, good choices, like good seeds, bring forth a good crop as a reward.  Bad choices, like bad seeds, ultimately bring forth a bad crop as a consequence.  This principle implies order and design.  God has set certain truths in motion that cannot be broken. Think about how this principle has affected your life and the lives of those around you.  You reap what you sow.

  • If you are dishonest and disrespect the people in your life, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you tolerate people treating you poorly, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you choose a negative attitude, anger easily, or find yourself constantly seeking ways to be offended, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you embrace victim mentality, run from your fears, blame others for your short-comings, and complain about your challenges, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you are lazy and expect to accomplish your goals due to entitlement, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.

 In opposition….

  • If you are honest and treat the people in your life as a servant leader, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you are confident and hold people accountable to a high standard of living, what is the consequence of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you choose a positive attitude, live with grace, and work towards kindness and empathy, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you embrace a positive perspective on circumstances, take action against your fears, and practice extreme ownership, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.
  • If you are ambitious, and work diligently towards pursuing growth towards the important goals in your life, what is the long-term result of that behavior? You reap what you sow.

How are you living your life now?  You WILL reap what you sow.
